The search is on to find the "Best Places to Work in Orange County." The program is open to all Orange County organizations that meet the eligibility requirements. To be eligible for consideration, companies must meet the following criteria:
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity
- Have a facility in Orange County, CA
- Have a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees working in Orange County, CA*
- Must be in business a minimum of one year
The "Best Places to Work in Orange County" program will attempt to rank companies in three company size categories:
Best Places to Work Small-Sized Companies (15-49 US employees)*
Best Places to Work Medium-Sized Companies (50-249 US employees)
Best Places to Work Large-Sized Companies (250 US employees or more)
The "Best Places to Work in Orange County" results and rankings will be simultaneously published by the Orange County Business Journal and posted on this website.
*Only Orange County employees are surveyed. Temporary, per diem, PRN, seasonal, 1099 employees, independent
contractors, non-employee real estate agents, consultants, interns and
volunteers are not counted in the number of Orange County employees or
included in the survey process. For staffing companies, employees that
are placed with other organizations are not eligible. To ensure credibility, organizations with 15-24 employees working in Orange County must have an 80% or better response rate on the employee survey.
**Orange County Business Journal reserves the right to determine a company's eligibility and can disqualify an organization for any reason.
